idk if it was the intention or not, but for me finding out I'm autistic in my 40s, it was very much that 'looking everywhere except at the person you're talking to' mixed with the uncanny valley stare that happens if I try to force myself to make eye contact - my eyes are L A R G E and green and I know from selfies that 'brutal focus' is a pretty good description. 'it's like you're trying to bore/brute force your way into my soul' is how my gaze has been described, more than once lol

@@goddessoflove7204 I feel like GWNF is the "perfect" (perfection doesn´t really exist, right?) culmination of everything she did in the previous works, but more specifically it´s like she picked the authentic 80´s atmosphere from Super Sunset and completed it with the deep and dark introspective soul of Cape God, and it became this post-punk synthpop jewel that is Girl With No Face...I´m still in need of listening to this album more, but it´s definitely right beside Cape God as my favourite Allie X´s album
