My grandpa worked for the ( City of Vernon, Tx.) In 1969, Street Dept , Tom Turkett supervisor he loved this maintainer, a man named Kenneth Nava was the one who operated the m100 he pulled it new off of the flatbed truck

My Grandpa always called a grader the maintainer for grading all the county dirt roads

Just watched a video of a guy who found one of these in the woods. Came here to see how it all worked without any hydraulics. Really cool.

Sadly when I was younger I cut up about a dozen old motor graders like this. Hauling scrap metal. As well as old cat 12s and 14s. Heavy well built machines! Had to use a lot of oxy/acetylene to cutting them down. They don't make them like that anymore!
