Thank you for sharing. I really need this. I’m in a season where it’s hard to have a hopeful heart due to circumstances in my life. But you’re right, having a heart of hope is so much more life giving. Ironically, I’ve started reading The Bible every day because I’m doing a Bible in a year challenge and as soon as I’ve committed to this, my mental health has been so deeply attacked by the enemy. I’m trying to push through, as I know breakthrough is around the corner.

We enjoyed a lot of travel when our son was a baby, back then children under the age of two fly free. Not sure if it’s that way anymore. When I hear people question why there are so many bad things happening in the world and why God is not interfering, I always say to them that God gave us free will. 2 things! ❤️✝️🙏🏻 1) absolutely love the baby coos in the background of every video. The sweetest! 2) I hope this still exists, but the Everglades used to have their own radio station you could tune into when crossing it because the service can be spotty. They had unique information and facts specific to the Everglades including wildlife and scenery. I used to cross it a lot when I was in school and loved tuning in! Hope this is still a thing ❤️ happy travels!

Happy New Year! I challenged myself to read my bible cover to cover and I am reading one chapter every night no matter how long or small the chapter is. I am loving it and I feel like I have learned so much. I've never in my life felt closer to God. I accepted God as my personal Lord and saviour when I was 11 years old. I turned 50 this December and I look forward to reading the next chapter every single day. God has shown me and taught me so much and I feel our relationship growing as I learn more about him. I highly recommend it if you have any interest in reading the entire bible. Sometimes its so hard to read just one chapter but it really makes me reflect and understand what I am reading. Thank you for another wonderful vlog.

@@ALLISONBICKERSTAFF If you're focusing on Old Testament, Hillsdale College has free courses/lectures you can listen to that explains Genesis, Exodus and The Story of David. I just began them and highly recommend. If you also struggle with reading Scripture, my priest just told me the other day, just read a paragraph a day- he told me to focus on the New Testament. If you struggle to understand anything, youtube also has videos that explain passages.

I visited Austria this past summer and it was an absolute dream!!! You can take a guided Sound of Music tour, we rented a car and visited all of the big movie spots and it was one of the best days ever ❤

Hi Allison! A wonderful Bible plan I’m doing right now is call the Bible Recap on the Bible app! It takes you through the Bible in chronological order for a year, and they do a recap video that gives context for the stories and show you where to capture God‘s heart through the whole bible!

I need one this year to stay focused on traveling this year to a place in Europe. Please don't count out Capetown, South Africa I went there on vacation in November.
