Today I’m emptying out my beloved hoarding room to organize the space, declutter A LOT, and make room for my husband’s military gear! This storage closet desperately needed some organization systems and a ton of trash to just be thrown out, and in this video I finally checked this off of my to-do list. I call them tote bins (my family has always called them that) but I never really hear anyone else call them that!

Looks good ! You can get a space bag for the clothes and label the electronics and if you don’t use them in a reasonable time - toss them

Love your dog being your shadow, mine does too. Good organisation project. In the UK we usually call them plastic storage boxes. Tupperware is for food storage. ‘Bins’ are trash cans, ‘totes’ are a large open bag with handles (e.g. for shopping).

I took this closet and made it into a linen closet since our house didn’t come with one :( my husband stores all of his gear in the garage shelving unit. I wish they could just give us a big walk in closet instead of a dumb military closet, it’s no fun for the wives haha!

Get another big tote and put his military gear in it. Things look more “controlled” that way and you can set it on the other big tote.

I think this is as organized as I care to make this space! He'll be throwing things around left and right in there soon enough even if I tried to conceal it more, but thanks for the good idea!
