Will length 'l' remain constant???
@AllLabExperiments2 жыл бұрын
@@pakingyt8782 Yes if you leave side loops but no if you take whole length but in that case error in length will increase.

why do we use wavelength = 2 x length for transverse and wavelength = length for longitudinal position?

Kindly sir make a video on hooks law and pls tell me as you said that if we will increase weight , tension increases and no of loops decreases then tell me that distance btw two nodes l increses as well or not and also the wavelength increases or not
@AllLabExperiments4 жыл бұрын
Yes there is a video on calculating spring constant and its viva voce. Yes when the no of loops will decrease in a fix length obviously the distance between the loops increase and so the wavelength. the last plot in this video signifies that only... You can also check out its practical file from the link given in the description...

i have a question ..... didn't the inc in tension should result in inc in no. of loops?
@AllLabExperiments3 жыл бұрын
I also wondered when i was reading about this. But then i found that the main difference is that this is not its natural frequency of vibration but the frequency of the fork is fix and for that the pattern is different.... Inc with inc tension and usually in guitar type instruments the frequency is the natural freq but not fix frequency

if the tuning fork is vibrating horizontally, how can it produce vertical vibrations???
@AllLabExperiments3 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by vertical longitudinal wave or transverse...
@dr.abhishekjohri3 жыл бұрын
I mean, in the experiment transverse waves are shown but tuning fork is vibrating horizontally
@AllLabExperiments3 жыл бұрын
@@dr.abhishekjohri transverse means movement of the string perpendicular to length of the string. You can move your hand horizontally and still produce transverse wave in a string. Just imagine
