@All Lab Experiment, Very beautifully explained, detailing of animation is perfect. Kindly, correct the formula of dispersive power shown at the timing 7:20. You have added refractive indices of both the colours (violet and red). While in starting you have shown correctly.
@AllLabExperiments3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Samridhi for finding this error. May be at that time i just copied the average refractive index formula and modified it but forgot to change the sign. Thanks a lot for mentioning. Will correct it soon. Have a good day :-)

In case of direct ray, the image of the slit isn't clearly observed, the brightness is so low ; that's why it seems hard to set the image of the slit in the crosswire and to take readings. In case of refracted ray (through prism), I'm unable to see the spectrum on account of very low brightness ! Sir, how to overcome this problem? Please tell me in details.
@AllLabExperiments2 жыл бұрын
Infact this is related to slit width. And the alignment of slit and the prism. Watch my video how to set a spectrometer. I think you will get to know what i am talking about. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJa3gqRsbt-nprc

Because They are proportional only then it shows a straight line and then show the formula.

Awesome video but the formula of dispersive power is wrong ,it should be Omega = μv−μr/μ−1
@AllLabExperiments2 жыл бұрын
Yeah at the beginning it is correct but later somehow it was missed. Thanks for mentioning
@ritikaranga15533 жыл бұрын
Sir, I have a doubt. In starting dispersive power formula is applicable for the thin prism, but in labs we take prism of angle 60 degree.
