I’m here after watching The Grateful Dead Movie version of this song. Incredible.

I learned this song from the dead as well. I love this front porch jam vibe and the vocal harmonies are spot on. The groove they set up makes me involuntarily move. Good stuff. Happy Friday, everyone.

@@joshuabradshaw5270 I stumbled across this version of GDTRFB on the Andy Griffith Show one night. I was beside Myself. I’m a Deadhead from way back and was Shocked. It’s pretty cool. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYvUlmenirl1fcUsi=HnAtPFkaDkKjNxd0

I have loved these guys since my senior year in high school in 1987. People in school were big Led Zeppelin fans in school.I had the Allman Brothers Band

I graduated hs in 1980 and loved both zep and the allman bros (and many others). They are not mutually exclusive. Enjoy great music!

I was at this very show back in Mansfield, MA and these guys blew the top off that shell. It was my first Allman Brothers concert and I was left with the feeling that I never should have waited so long! It was a large band with a number of fine musicians (two drummers) so thank you one and all. I will never forget Gregg's voice as he back announced "Mister Dickie Betts" after one particularly bad blues boogie.

I was playing in a Semi pro Football game a few miles from this show that night. Looking back this show is the only place other than that game I wish I was at.
