Its my impression that John Allmand boats are kind of rare, you just don't see many around or come up for sale. And by all reports are very solid boats. When I was a kid, looking through Boat trader, I was always intrigued by these boats

was hoping to pick your brain love your boat vids I have a 2000 Crownline 180 I put a new block in and rebulit the 4,3 liter replaced most parts to new and it idles like a dream Problem I am having is over 2000 rpm i am getting sputtering and backfires. Reset timing and same thing. Was hoping you may have a few ideas
