Just started doing my own nails and I DEFINITELY recommend getting an electric drill right out the gate. I have one and if I didn’t the filing alone would turn me off from the entire process!

I love the advice you gave as far as when you spoke of beginners using Kiss products before ordering the higher end acrylic. I agree with you. As a beginner I think it’s best to practice with less expensive products and then work your way up. You did an awesome job as always 💜

That's a great tip about filing the nail tip after the glue but before applying the acrylic. I saw another woman do something similar w/a KISS kit but she used a THIN application from a brush of acetone to 'melt' that edge.

I started off doing my nails with this same kit as well. I’ve seen videos that said the smell isn’t as strong as it was back in the day. I’ve been on the polygel train lately. I did love the coffin shape although I can’t really do them but stiletto shape looks good on my hands
