This was awesome to watch. About 20 years ago I was trying to teach myself Maya at work and one of the first tutorials was to design an alloy wheel! You did a great job and made it look easy. I like that you emphasize from the beginning the importance of learning parametric modeling.

wonderful work. how do adjust the with of this design should i make this for my rc car? i need it to finish at 3.062 inside dia. and 1.65 wide ty would i do it in the beginning of the first profile or can i at the end?

Oh man if I could spend 8 hours with you just learning this whole thing, you just made a alloy rim that looks like something off a super car, would it be cheating to literally copy this video over and over but with a tweak in designs, just to grasp the concept of what tools to use and where to use them, I’ve been looking for so long about how to become an alloy designer and this could really help
