What size are the transmission cooler lines? I have a stock 85 Z28 and my stock transmission cooler lines will not thread into this radiator. Does anyone know of an adapter to make it work?

Well I don't know if you install it yet on your 3rd Camaro but i bought a Alloyworks radiator for my 92 Z28 and tried to install it today and found out that the transmission lines won't thread in to the radiator because it looks like they thread the hole in the radiator in metric and not 1/2 20 standard threads. So i say buy at your own risk.

I haven't installed mine yet, since my other one is still working fine. Sorry to hear that was an issue. I had that exact issue on a 1990 F150 I replaced the radiator on over a year ago. Was another cheap aluminum radiator brand.

Same happened to me today with my 92 Camaro RS 5.0!!! Ordered an after market aluminum radiator and boom. Transmission line doesn't fit. It really is a gamble. I'm just going to end up ordering an OEM radiator at this rate.

@@Ariel_6277 Sorry to hear that dude. I sent my back to AollyWorks for a refund after sending them pic's of the transmission lines not fitting the radiator. So I ordered a Champion Radiator which has been working great so far.

People say you'll need adapters for the trans cooler lines, but otherwise it should fit.
