I'd send it back with a note saying "Ah, thanks but no thanks". When I started my business 3 decades ago a wise man told me a saying I've remembered all my life. "Quality is remembered, long after price is forgotten" Reliability is a must for you and your operation. Thanks Jack

Not to surprised here Jack as the water blaster quickly loads up the amps required when you release the trigger as does the welder when you strike solid with the electrode Because the power station is not receiving charge when you are using it, it's total voltage will be quickly drawn below system threshold margins (hence the beeping) It should have a lot more chop if receiving alternator voltage from your running engine whilst in use I bought a Kickass 3000 watt inverter from an Aussie crowd that pumps out a genuine 3000 watts with surge well above which runs anything I throw at it but to maintain that level of draw a high input such as engine/alternator needs to be used

Well now - perhaps they ought to send you a replacement unit so you can give it a proper test? Not too promising, I'd wager. Thanks for the efforts, Jack!

I can't get over how many companies want you to do a review, and will only let you have the item if it's a positive one..

I'm in the USA and purchased the 110 volt version, it's mostly "worked as advertised" but is quite quirky. I've never tried pulling more than 1000 Watts though. Likewise, I never got the WiFi working, Bluetooth works maybe 50% of the time. Lots of error codes, some not in the manual. When I queried Allpowers I never got a response. My main complaint is with charging from solar, if starting from zero input (like with panels left plugged in overnight) it tops out at only 200 Watts even though the panels are putting out maybe 1000. If I unplug and then reconnect it will then continue charging at a higher rate. I've also had a problem with the unit shutting off AC output when it hits 100% charge. (There is a caution in manual about this happening with full rate AC charging but solar charging does the same)

if you take the rubber insert that's around the control panel out, there's a bunch of screws hiding underneath, i Jammed a hot soldering iron through my speaker which shut that up! I also replaced most of the wiring inside to a heavier duty cable as most of it inside is only rated for 8 amps!

These are damn expensive in the UK £999 (AUD $1,900) but until they get decent user manual sorted and make it easier to use I doubt I’ll even think of getting one, as there many other options out there that are easier to use.

Good on you for giving a fair test. Appears to have on going problems that are aggravating. Hopefully the company can get its act together and correct the problems. I probably would have been less patient than you.
