The electron plastic is great in the winter for it's grip. I think the flight numbers are meant for when it is broken in.

The signal is one of my favorite discs so much versatility

I love the Signal, 158g Neutron, for my patent pending shots or tight fairways where I can put it on a steep hyzer. Wish MVP would add it to the Eclipse or Proton plastics.

I bought the electron volt specifically for rounds in the rain. It’s still pretty stable but I’m looking forward to seeing beat in and then getting it paired up with my neutron and fission volts. Neutron is dead straight with fade at the end. The fission is my most trusted fairway driver with safe turn and reliable baby fade. If the electron beats in to the -2,1.5 numbers listed, it would be amazing.

Electron volt was one of my first drivers when I started playing years ago. Moved on to premium volts but those are all so overstable these days compared to the PFN volts that I've actually experimented throwing these in electron again.

Fission Volts @165-169g range will give you the stability you're looking for.

The volt is my fav fairway driver. I am trying beat it in in the woods. It is the only fairway driver in the electron plastic. I use the fission plastic for the understable version. The cosmic neutron volt is as overstable as the resistor.

I had a plasma volt. Great power disc to slam flat and count on long flight then fade, usually skip

Just bought the electron Volt a couple of weeks ago, been loving the plasma volt for a while but its quite overstable. Electron seem alot straighter!

Found two very beat in Electron Volt's in the used been at a local store. A great match for my senior arm speed.

Is be interested in your sense of how the Signal and the Rollo compare. I have found the Rollo to be a little less understable than the numbers, so I'm just wondering your thoughts on how they compare.

Later in the video, I finally got to the point where you called the signal the MVP Rollo. It would be interesting to see you throw it in a max weight.

I have the same color signal in max wt and flat top. moderately flippy, will start to fade back left. My westside underworld turns way more. VIP (champ) or tournament (star) it's a flipoholic

My son threw his favorite disc ever into I believe the same pond. A beat in orange Cheetah.

That E Volt looks great but I feel the numbers (8, 5, -2, 1.5) are going to catch a lot out when the plastic makes so much difference to this mold.. EG. The Neutron version is supposedly 0.5 fade with (8, 5, 0.5 , 2) where the Fission is -1 (Somewhere in the middle)... Ok rim familiarity is great... but this is 3 different discs with the same name... (At least MVP change the numbers to suit... but really an addition to the name like 'Volt OS', 'Volt' and 'Volt whoops' The E may be stable now but I feel MVP gave it the -2 turn number for a reason... maybe it beats in more flippy than the other plastics... Personally I'd just back off my Tesla or Resistor but it looks like the Volt has a less abrupt fade than it's bigger cousins. (To clarify my initial comment, I mean people that like the Volt, so buy a different plastic expecting the same flight)

Lost my Signal on #5 at Maple Hill, threw it nose up, and oops…

Any baseline drivers, but especially Electron drivers, are essentially useless after a single round of play, unless you like ending a round with a disc that does the exact opposite of what it did when you started.
@SmarteeeSteve17 күн бұрын
You're right, with a couple exceptions imo Whaddaya think of dx eagles? For me, they retain a lot of stability and pick up some glide
@chuckwalla12317 күн бұрын
I agree but I also think beat in drivers just fly better than neutral drivers. Sometimes when I lose a premium disc I’ve been beating in it feels much more devastating than just cycling through some baseline discs. I had a neutron octane that flew perfectly for me and I had been beating it in for a year - hit a tree and kicked into a pond never to be found again. Couldn’t even bring myself to start beating one in again.
@SmarteeeSteve16 күн бұрын
@chuckwalla123 right! Though I like the dx cycle like you do I've switched to understable premium discs because the colors are brighter, I lose less of them, they can take many full speed tree bonks, and i can afford to buy plenty of them these days They've quit making some of my base plastic purist staple molds too
