I love my Ford Bronco Badlands 2 door with manual transmission and it had zero problems in the snow for past 2 winters. The only malfunction I have had since i purchased it, was the dang hood alarm.

Great snow review. I'll stick with the desert sand and rock's. I had to grab a hoodie to keep warm watching.

Good stuff Dave. Backed my Badlands out of the garage to take a pic, but no donuts. Know it is capable of doing it though.

One thing I hate is when snow freezes on the base of the windows and the windows gets caught when you open the door. Don't forget to scrape snow and ice off the windows... Then enjoy

can u downsize to 35's and make it work? i like raptor but i think 37's kill the mileage and are overkill...Just wondering if this is possible to do on the raptor?

Im sure you could but the idea of the Bronco Raptor is the most extreme SUV

Very nice. Wish they offered this with a solid roof though, it might make it more quiet on long highway drives, and I'll rarely take the thing off. Would be a nice option. How quiet do you think it drives on the highway? Local roads?

As someone who came from a soft top Bronco its night and day different. I do agree about a sold top Bronco. I think there are people who would buy them but are there enough to make up the cost of stamping it at the factory?

@@AllTerrainNation That's a good question. I just know it would be an easier decision for me. I suspect there are a lot more than anyone thinks. Personally, I'm going round and round about this Bronco Raptor versus one of the F150's. Considering an F150 Raptor, 35 or 37, for its suspension and road clearance, an F150 Tremor so not quite so wide but still somewhat off road capable, or an F150 Platinum or Platinum Plus to get the hybrid Powerboost engine. If I went Tremor or Platinum/PP I'd likely do a 2 1/2 to 3 1/2" lift/level ad add 35's and a bit of poke. Whatever I get will be my max luxury interior, go anywhere, anytime, any kind of weather, daily driver, especially bad winter snowstorms.

Apparently, the new snow rated KO3 tires are even better than the KO2's on snow and ice, per all sorts of tests. A question, was that reasonably quiet driving on the turnpike with that removable, compartmentalized top? Reasonably quiet and bearable, not that big a deal, or more bothersome? Thanks.

We ran the KO3 on our Ranger Raptor and loved them but sadly sold the truck before the snow kicked in

I love my Bronco raptor it’s the funnest vehicle I’ve ever driven and it does everything!!!! on the road it’s incredible off-road it’s incredible towing A modified teardrop trailer off-road it tows awesome, I can drive six hours straight and get out and I have zero driver fatigue it’s the most comfortable vehicle I’ve ever driven and off road like forestry roads for example with potholes and chatter bumps you hardly feel anything it’s amazing the swaybar disconnects instantly not like a jeep and you can go up to 30 miles an hour with the swaybar disconnected which helps a lot lockers when you hit the button it’s immediate reaction and I’ve owned the jeep 392 I like the bronco raptor better but the only negative thing that I can find on the bronco raptor is that it’s a little bit wider than a jeep but once you get some saddle time you get used to it, you’re just more careful of getting pinstripes completely stock off the showroom floor ground clearance is perfect And adding some mud terrain’s in a winch is really all you need my only concern is long term reliability with all the electronics but so far so good👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

While others hope that that kind of climate does not arrive. Any user of a Raptor, be it Bronco, Ranger or F150, thinks the opposite.

In ice and snow, it’s always the tires, and snow chains/socks… 4WD is pretty much meaningless. If I had the funds, I’d get a dedicated set of snow tires, since my bronco is in PA
