@@robzilla69Hisense will release a 8K UST projector with a native 4K chip in 2024, it will be used with pixel shift to get a 8K picture. But those DLP chips are very expensive. Samsung will also release a 8K UST projector, probably with the same DLP chip. One of the reasons of those 8K UST projectors 2024 releases, are the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris and the UEFA EURO 2024.

A 3 chip LCD can't produce 4K. Stop lying about it. It's even not airtight so dust can acces the 3 LCD chips. A DLP chip is airtight and produces real 4k, or by pixel shifting.

4K PRO UHD is 1980*1080*2 pixels, the 4K UHD is 1980*1080*4 pixels.

No need to be rude mate. Personally I’ll always take LCD over DLP because of its complete lack of Rainbow Effect (RBE). DLP is fine but once you see RBE it’s hard to not see it.

Why Epson dumbly dropped 3D is beyond understandable. With that action, they lost me as a customer. Also, their Pro 4K UHD isn't even true 4K.
