I found this band as a 12 year old, struggling with the identity crisis of having no roots, being constantly on the move - an outsider always peering in. And ATL was always there for me, with a message to just discover myself. A decade older, I'm still on a similar journey of figuring out who I am and where I'm supposed to be. Never been a big fan of these guys but there’s something about this song that does the job for me. Ridiculously simple structurally, the same 4 chords the entire time, yet they manage to layer just enough melodic variations atop it to keep it interesting yet unobtrusive. I don’t know what it is. There’s a certain fleeting sort of beauty in the atmosphere, like feeling nostalgic for a time or a place you aren’t sure is even real. I guess that’s appropriate given the title. Whatever the case may be this is one hell of an effective single, doing just the right amount to grab your attention without ever becoming overblown.

Not that anyone cares, I've been listening to All time low since around 2011. And I love memories that involves music in them, because they are easier to remember, it's like reviving the memory all over again. Anyways, so I was at which was one of my best friends back in the day and she had this incredible amazing taste of music, most of the music I listen to since those times and literally some of what are now my favorite bands, has all been thanks to her... So, we were playing monopoly, she, with her best friend and myself and with the music in the background, such as pierce the veil, black veil brides, bullet for my valentine, sleeping with sirens, falling in reverse, sum 41, bring me the horizon, all time low... So as you can pretty much tell, they were the type of "dark/emo", antisocial, depressed, introvert, both brilliantly smart personality type, and among the many songs (in which I opened up Shazam to remember to look them up later), it came up time bomb...from all time low of course, and I lost it, I had been literally one of the best songs I've ever heard, the lyrics, the rhythm, literally I fell so in love with it. It was PERFECT.... Years have gone by and things have changed, even though I'm still friends with that girl..she no longer recognizes my existence anymore.. we just drift apart I guess... A few months ago, I had the opportunity to go to a bmth concert for the first time in my life and my heart was just all over the place and I wanted to tell her so badly about it...because of how much she loves them.. but I didn't... Anyways..I rant a little, the point is that all time low wasn't one of my favorite bands, yet the few songs I liked from them, I LOVED them, like..they were just faaaar too good. And eventually I became their fan, I've bought almost all their cds, I've seen them at a concert and their music is one of the best highlights in my life
