I know zero about solar so your videos have been excellent in teaching me and for making me less scared of solar. Thank you so much. When I buy I will definitely do it through your link. Keep the info coming so I can keep learning. Thanks!

Hi Lawrence, greetings from New Jersey. I'm just getting started in solar. Mostly for my camper. Who knows maybe I'll get hooked and build for something bigger.

@@ziggysworkshop8784 Greetings to you in New Jersey! You WILL get hooked on solar..lol Im always looking for ways to improve my small 650 watt system. I started with a 18 watt panel now i'm up to 650 watts. I'm hoping to go Lithium from sealed lead acid (which i get for free) sometime soon. Keep up the good work sir!

A second comment/question. I live and camp in Oklahoma. When it storms (often with hail) do I run out in the middle of the night and unhook everything get the panel out of danger? How would that work? Seems very dangerous. Or do I not keep it hooked unless my batteries are low? When do I use the solar? Thanks!

I use my panels as portable units. I take them in if storms are coming. They stay out and hooked up day and night unless there is a danger that weather or if I'm leaving my site and there is a chance somebody might walk off with them.

Temp sensor should be strapped against your battery or batteries.
