Actually TI is speaking from a geography perspective based on the actual city zoning and jurisdiction limits based off mapping... Tiny is speaking more from a street or clout perspective in reference to what college park and some other places brought to the over all creation of culture that out of towners now know Atlanta to be... He is acknowledging that tiny is correct from the perspective of the culture Entertainment and clout that Atlanta is known for it was created by people from the city and the surrounding areas. But he is saying as far as city limits are concerned you are either from the city or not. The overall conversation is more amongst locals...

It's mommy and daddy that keeps that lil azz safe at night. Without them he would most likely be another statistical, misguided, intellectually deficient boy that meets an unfortunate and unheard of end by those close and even not so close to him. Period point blank. This is how to understand the boundaries, of the capital city and surrounding cities. ATL spans from, North, South, West, and Eastsides of the city of Atlanta. The North side of ATL ends at Buckhead/Lenox mall. All the way to the southside of the ATL boundary marked by Cambellton Rd. That's North 2 South ATL. Okay. The Westside of the ATL spans from BANKHEAD to Memorial Dr. Period all other surrounding cities, are Smyrna, College Park, East Point to Palmetto. Stone Mountain, Decatur, Clarkston etc.. are surrounding. Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Chamblee, Doraville, and Clairmont are surrounding. I'm from the Bricks for real. Poverty, crime, boarded up houses, prostitution, Gangs, drugs, misery, robberies, violence, and bullets. Everyone I know from the hood wanna get away from the madness. These kids growing up wanting to move TO THE HOOD. Willingly WANT to be there (they think). Til they learn bullets ain't got no names. These young kids don't fight no more and when they out there shootin at each other on the daily, them bullets go EVERYWHERE! Into houses, vehicles, children, adults, etc. Til they learn what poverty does to a community and the crime rate.. Til they become a VICTIM cuznthey an outsider that ain't built for the hood ish... I made it out and I don't even wanna VISIT the Hood. I know what's there. And I dont want it no more. Rather stay in my new safe neighborhood and Raise my kids away from the BS. I worked hard to get away from the Hood. And don't wanna go back
