Paul Downer Jr takes the stage with the thin roster take. I agree mistakes happen with rookies. But being able to tackle is a basic coaching problem. The Veterans Pratt and Stone are not mentors in how to tackle for the rookies.

I pride myself in being the most even keeled Bengal's fan in the world. When I saw the final roster had 10 rookies, I knew the worst was coming, but stayed positive. Now, at the end of this horrible season, every week comes with another list of examples of Front Office malpractice, and with each, I find my sanity slipping more and more with each. Joe Burrow's sideline explosion shows us that his is too. PS Will you please ask Zac Taylor why he never covers his mouth when calling plays during critical moments? I am tired of the close ups of his chapped lips even though the NFL cameras love them.

Not only do we need one more stumble by miami and indy. (Likely) but root like hhh for kc to drop a game in meantime where week 18 matters to them AND pitt to have clinched north by time we go there. At least we'd have slim chance it ends well...but the way this year has went can sense week 18 thud

How many other franchises lost a generational qb their rookie year hired tigers bill instead of bill walsh..rule changes on day afc title game..lost a player night before sb on drug bindge had best defender go out first quarter of that game lose a franchise qb on second offense play of first playoff game..botch a pat snap in a must win game...lost a lead with less than a minute left in a playoff game after a game clinching pick...had rookie year wr for sb winning td wide open but no time...etc etc ad nausea. Like everyone else on this site weve endured ALL these things and more not even listed. To end it with a cluster thud in week 18 on brink of saving the season is easy call comparatively. Hope not but 57 years of history says its inevitable

If u have 55 years of nonstop experience in Bungalitis misery u have a pretty good sense of things. With that being said am absolutely sure EVERYTHING is gonna fall in place for the playoff birth heading in week 18...BUT given where weve been there will be a cluster loss at Pitt and-or kc asleep vs denver. The hosts trio today certainly have feel for what talking about. Drain your accounts and bet this. You'll be sad it came true but at least richer

@@benjaminmartin9073 my concern is that he may want to win but has a myopic view of roster building. Insisting on signing a brittle Tee Higgins is proof of that. Which brings up another thing -- if we have a top 5 QB should we be paying top dollar for his weapons? Heck, wouldn't Andy Dalton look great throwing to Chase and Tee?
