Great answers Jay about Mixon and the inevitability of the Brown-Blackburn ownership style. Appreciate the candor. Hopefully that relieves some of the rants and hopeless cries for Duke or Zac be fired or silly calls for Bill Belichick which is IMPOSSIBLE on many levels so no need to stress out. If your born after August 1991 thats way it is period!

That email praising the Brown family could have come from the Rooney burner account. They have to be big fans of the way the Brown family runs their business.

14:50 You’re a good man, Jay. And you’re good at your job. No shade to Mix, but if he can’t understand that you were simply doing your job by reporting on things pertinent to the Bengals then too bad 🤷♂️

Mixon could’ve made a difference for us. If we had a run game coordinator and o line coach that didn’t produce bottom o lines and terrible run scheming. Mixon was right, the bengals never played to his strengths. Even in the Super Bowl when we had a great run game going, the coaches abandoned it. As for the media? Y’all don’t remember how vilifying you guys were (mainly James Rapien). Elisse said she never had a problem with Mixon. Why? Because she treated him with respect.

Wrong. Chase Brown isn’t the problem. Mixon can’t block and has not been effective as a runner so stop with the nonsense.

@ never said Chase was the problem. Mixon may not have been good as a blocker, but we drafted 5 TEs, 4 of them have good blocking. Mixon was effective as a runner. He had multiple 1,000+ yard seasons. When the interior o line is 2nd to last in run blocking for multiple seasons, any runner is going to suffer. As well as Frank Pollack being the run game coordinator. He should’ve been fired after the Super Bowl season. I also believe Moss would’ve produced a little bit better if literally any on other than Frank was our coordinator. Mixon and Chase could’ve 100% been better than what we have now because Mixon was familiar with running in the AFCN, even though Callahan never played to his strengths. That was my problem with Callahan as OC too, he never moved anyone around or played to his players strengths.
