Mine was just delivered. It had a 65% charge already. I plugged it into the house grid and it was topped off in less than 2 hours. So far, so good. I jjust purchased their solar panel charger. Looking forward to getting it.

Great review. I just bought one to power a telescope mount and computer in the field. I justified the purchase by stating it could also work as a backup for our CPAP machines. An official CPAP battery backup costs a fortune.

Good review! I am looking at this one for those DC outlets that you didn't know about. I have a cable that will allow me to run my CPAP on 12vdc instead of 120vac, so that I don't loose power in the conversion from DC to AC and back to DC. That way I am only using 3amps DC instead of 22amps AC.

SUCH A USEFUL VIDEO. I bought on second hand for a road trip. I'm excited!! Can I operate an air pump that pulls 110-120v with 1.75 amps? Or is that too risky with a 110v Max? You the dad!
@JustADad3 жыл бұрын
I think you will be ok with that air pump, Its no the voltage you are worried about it's the amps this power station will provide you with 300 watts power that is about 2.5 amps so the Pump is fine if it does not pull more than 2.5 amps. this is a awesome power station. The only thing is the power cord to charge it I have a hard time finding it sometimes. Thanks for Watching and your kind Words!!!!
@tuckerrichards2073 жыл бұрын
@@JustADad I appreciate the timely response. So moving forward, you imagine I can use most items under 2.5 amps?

@@tuckerrichards207 yes that would fine.

The power brick can be a little inconvenient but it saves the battery a little weight, and more importantly heat which can shorten the life of electronic components.

Very thorough review. I recently bought a portable power station that was a different brand and tested the capacity using a tower fan. However later when I tried to plug in another fan into the ac port the plug didn't seem to want to go in and now there is something rattling inside. I see a spring so I guess something came loose. My question to you is very simple. How do the ac ports feel when plugging and unplugging devices? I got mine just in case the power goes out in the middle of the summer and I need to run a fan. Thanks!
