Thank you very much for your review of the PPS2400 power station. I would like to clarify the issue mentioned at 5:34 in the video. Why Does the PPS2400 Use an IEC M25 AC Power Cord Instead of the Common IEC C13 Power Cord? 1) Greater Current Capacity with IEC M25 a. IEC M25 Power Plug: This industrial-grade plug offers a larger contact area and higher mechanical strength, enabling stable power transmission and the ability to handle up to 25A of high current. b. IEC C13 Power Plug: While commonly used for household appliances like rice cookers, audio equipment, gaming consoles, computers, monitors, and printers, the C13 plug supports a current rating of 15A to 20A. For high-power devices (over 1500 watts in household usage), using a C13 plug may lead to overheating and potential safety risks due to insufficient current capacity. 2) Advantages of the IEC M25 Plug Design 🥰 a. Secure Connection to Minimize Loosening: The IEC M25’s twist-lock design secures the plug in place upon insertion, preventing loosening or poor contact due to external vibrations or tugs. b. Dust and Water Resistance for Durability: Twist-locking is typically paired with a seal that effectively blocks dust and water from entering the plug and socket. This design reduces the risk of short circuits caused by dust or moisture. c. Reduced Risk of Accidental Unplugging: The locking mechanism also minimizes the chance of accidental unplugging, especially useful in settings with frequent movement or vibrations, such as portable power stations or outdoor charging units, ensuring safe and continuous power supply. d. Enhanced Power Transmission Stability: A secure, twist-lock connection provides a tighter electrical contact, reducing contact resistance and helping to prevent overheating and fire hazards. ALLWEI is equipped with a safer M25 (industrial grade) plug power cord to protect user safety and prevent customers from choosing a household C13 charging cable due to losing the charging cable. This ensures the safety of the equipment and can be used for equipment with higher power and current load. #ALLWEI #PortablePowerStation #ALLWEIPowerStation #PowerStation #CampingGear #EmergencyPreparedness

Thank you so much for the reply. I hadn't considered that at the time of recording, and while I still don't like the plug and have the concern that it might get lost or damaged and then have to be replaced. As such, I could not find this plug when searching on Amazon to see about getting a replacement which means either someone would have to have a link or go to Allwei to replace it. My suggestion would be to have a compartment or carry bag for the cords to help prevent loss or damage as this plug isn't one I've seen before and may be difficult to replace. Setting that aside, I do love the fact that it charges so fast and with added batteries it would be able to charge them as well and quickly and that is a major bonus!

Haha, thanks! I'll take that as a compliment, I think 😉

Alot of these companies follow the anker model of limited voltage inputs for solar making them wall chargers at best. I buy solar stations to use solar not my wall. If you live in an apartment it could work but I would still get one that can charge efficiently both ways. Trying to charge 8kw's from the sun with this is beyond ridiculous. I like the 2400 w inverter to bad it would take a week to recharge it. Lol

Agreed. If it's all wall charge, it's fine and has a great 1500w charger, but sokar at 500 or 600w is just not adequate

LiFePo4's

@TheOldJarhead One would Think They would offer or advertise more cycles than stated with LiPo4

3500 cycles might have to do with the cell grade they are using to keep costs down.

I'm sure 😉

@TheOldJarhead But regardless 3500 cycles is not their life expectancy. 3500 cycles till they are only 80% of the rated capacity. Who knows how long they actually last. Might be 20 years till they hit 50%.
