I remember when Ally was playing for Kilmarnock near the end of his superb career at Tynecastle he dressed up as the Old Hearts mascot called Hearty Harry and nobody knew it was Ally inside the suit. I’m a Hearts fan and it was actually really good to see someone not taking themselves too seriously and the Hearts fans were actually cheering him when he pulled off the huge foam head to reveal himself. Just a great sportsman with an infectious enthusiasm for the game and life. ❤️. 👍✌️👍
