Oliver did not hesitate to send Martinelli off within 10 seconds of two bookable offences a couple of years ago. Here he refused to apply the rule of law and was incredibly reluctant to send off Kovacic when he could have done it twice, not just once.

Is Ally McCoist in the same world as us, remember Oliver sent off Martinelli after preventing a throw in and another foul after 15 seconds. But i'm not surprised about more corrupt Northern refereeing. We need diversity in the ranks, more refs from south of Manchester refereeing in the Premier League.

Had Oliver been refereeing Spurs v Liverpool, he would also have sent Diogo Jota off, with one of the softest double yellow cards you’ll ever see !! But Kovacic does worse and stays on Can you imagine if City were down to 10 men already and Kovacic did that and he sent Kovacic off?? Nor Can I.
