Arsenal doesn’t have a god given right to win the Premier League. This is Arteta’s first managerial job & he has never won the Premier League & neither have the majority of his players. The media loves narratives but I didn’t see evidence of a bottle job in that game. I thought Arsenal dominated the first half and could have been 2 or 3 up. What I saw was a very good Villa side, well managed by a superb Emery, that showed why they r in the running for a Champions League spot & defensive mistakes by Arsenal. This is 1 defeat in 14 games. Arsenal should just put this down to a bad day in the office and focus on their remaining games.

More often than not, it also does a disservice to the team or individual that was victorious. Arsenal had opportunities in the first half and had they taken one of them, they’d likely have gone on to win. YET, they've both slipped up but Arsenal did bottle the league last season idk how anyone thinks missing Saliba is a valid excuse when you led the league for over 300 days. This season, they could've at least put some distance between them and Liverpool especially as they would've known the result so even more reason to make it just a 2-horse race but they failed to capitalise. Liverpool still have injuries and their forward line has been abysmal for back to back games. Losing to Palace just highlights how off the pace they are as a team right now. Both team though could turn it around and build momentum with European wins and funnel that back into the league but I reckon City have far too much experience and depth for the other two sides.... if that is the case, then they'd have bottled it (especially Arsenal).
