Saw her play and unadvertised gig back in March with Eric Gales. She rocked it. So did Gales! But, she just needs a little of that "mileage" on her soul and she'll be one to watch. She's still a little raw. Lotsa talent, tho. Most definitely.

Just saw Ally open up for Kenny Wayne Shepard. She can sing and play and is really at the top of here game, but noy having sound ready to go or tunimng up a guitar is not the way a show should start out. If you r the number #! then act like it. and hire folks who have eveerything ready to go when you step up to the stage!

Compared to the average rap concert where women often twerk on stage and the lyrics are explicitly sexual, I would say Ally's fashion and behavior were pretty respectable at this show. As for the technical side of her playing, it's a live performance, not a studio. Mistakes happen. Sounded pretty good to me!

This was outside in an open field so I'm sure that she was trying to get some depth to her tone otherwise it just floats off into nothing. I'm going to eq this properly for Jack and then you will get a better idea of what she actually sounded like.

I was there at the show. Way too much delay on every song. Then there the wha-wha solos on top of the delay…. It was just too processed. She’s a good guitar Player. Don’t think she needs to rely on a constant use of effects. My eats were craving a fat-clean strat tone the whole night. That said, it was a good show and Ally is one to watch out for.

It's not like she's 300lbs. I'm guessing 170-180 tops. Is she fat? I guess. But not morbidly obese. Your original comment suggested the latter.
