@sakuracardcaptor4709 i dont like shipping arguments. But since you started it, heres a few things. 1. there is no "zack cloud persona." Cloud didn't "get" anything from zack, and he isn't mimicking zack. He based his false memories on stories zack told him, but his "false persona" is simply one he made based on how young him viewed a super cool, super strong soldier would be. He doesn't act like zack at all. And "real" cloud honestly tends to come out a bit quite often in remake, especially when around aerith due to her ability to see through his act and break down his barriers that he put up. Ship who you want, but don't tell lies. 2. Cloud loves both of them. But "real" cloud (real in quotes because "real" cloud and "fake" cloud *are not* different people. They share memories and they share feelings.) was really distant from tifa and could never be happy with her(to my knowledge, this was said by the creator. They said that they couldn't see cloud and tifa in a happy relationship, even without aerith). After spending a night with tifa, he says that his his promised land is somewhere where he can see aerith again and he wants to see her again. In the books and in advent children, he insisted on drinking alone when she offered to drink with him because he was upset and reminded about aerith, he couldn't bring himself to say he loves her(even though he does. But he also couldn't move on from aerith), he moved into aerith's church without anyone knowing, the only one who could ever comfort him was aerith, he keeps pictures of aerith's flowers in his office, and advent children ends with him riding by fields filled with aerith's flowers and it shows aerith. 3. Aerith loves both cloud and zack. This should be obvious. Even in og, aerith said that the similarities between zack and Cloud were basically superficial and that she wanted to get to know the "real" him. And that was og aerith, while remake aerith seems to know who "real" cloud is and bring him out more and more the more time the two spent together during the game. 4. While this song could possibly be about zerith, it's honestly not likely. Aerith's song is meant to be a bit of a parallel to Hollow. Hollow was Cloud's song about aerith(the song was even stated to be from cloud's perspective and the person he describes only fits for aerith). It was written by the same man and we know this song is aerith's song. Now, to reiterate my earlier point, ship who you want, but don't tell/spread lies to try and de-legitimize other ships.

I have always been a die hard Cloud/Tifa fan since I was a kid, but wholeheartedly LOVE Cloud and Aerith's chemistry and am SOOOOO excited to see how their relationship flourishes in Rebirth! This is Aerith's time to shine, and I'm HERE FOR IT! Aerith is our QUEEN! 💜👑

@@allytheninja it's nice to see shippers that can appreciate both. i wouldn't say i'm a die hard shipper however i personally prefer cloud and aerith's dynamic and i just think they have better chemistry but i can also totally understand the appeal in cloud/tifa for others. it's a shame that a large portion of the shipping community in the ff7 fandom is very toxic and can't be like that though :/

The Dyne section always breaks me and will probably crush my soul with voice acting. Also as a southerner it's nice to hear Cid have a nice realistic accent and not a "I want to marry my sister and haven't left the hills in five years" accent.

I'm so satisfied with Cid's voice. And the Dyne chapter looks like it's going to be more appropriate in than the original 7. I was really worried about both of these things and it looks like I didn't need to be. Thank goodness!

@waterish617 In the words of Carrie Underwood "Jesus take the wheel". The developers haven't really given me any reason to be worried yet with their decisions. Mercer as Vincent is amazing and Cid sounds amazing granted the little dialogue we got. Cait Sith is the only thing I'm kinda like ok didn't expect that but like I said I trust them and get why he has the accent he has. The only thing that sucks is we still have to wait till February.

I am absolutely losing myself. My emotions are all over the place. I didnt think I was going to get this emotional after having done so so many times with everything they keep dropping, but this one just has me pacing back and forth with my thoughts just spiraling out of control. One thing, I know Ive only made like, 3 of your streams (Im so bad about remembering to keep an eye on notifications, etc, and then this year has been a roller coaster for me) but I am hoping I can make your streams when you start up. My theory is since Zack survived in that alternate timeline - Cloud never joins Avalanche. So they failed assaulting to blow up the reactor - and only biggs survived? Just a guess.

1. All date scenes from the original are alsol here in the REBIRTH (Tifa, Aerith, Barret, Yuffie), just like in the original. 2. Aerith singing is part of LOVELESS musical stage plays in Gold Saucer (confirmed by SquareEnix). 3. Aerith who unconscious in the bed is different timeline Aerith, so does Marlene who is with Zack and the unconscious Cloud also from another Timeline where Zack lives. Marlene talked about Aerith who unsconscious on bed from the timeline where Zack lives.
