@shinigami_13 жыл бұрын
Lol kota factory dont even reflect 30 percent of the true prep story. I'm one of them and I know the struggle is like dont even let sleep..family,relatives, teachers, no friends,etc all when turns against us..
@bhoomikasaxena92633 жыл бұрын
@@shinigami_1 Okay I agree with u there. There were some instances which were a bit unrealistic like girls coming to boy's room and them going to clubs which hardly any prep student have time for. But that can't change the fact, the series was beautifully shot and directed. The writers did their best to show their preparation story. And yes I also had been a prep student, I know the PRESSURE every student has to go through
@arpittripathi29453 жыл бұрын
Bhai kota factory was classical it's not the documentary it's a show it has some entertainment value in it so we cannot have a show like documentary in netflix it would not attract larger audience..but kota factory depicted kota and struggle while preparing very well and now comparing it with aspirant kora factory is far better.

I am currently studying in IIT Madras. Approx 1.2 million students try for IIT and only 13 thousand get in. That is like 1%. So the pressure is huge. I dropped a year after my +2 to study for entrance exam. But in my case it was me who made the decision. My parents recommended not to go. But I am happy now that I made that decision. The only problem is after all this effort, I am currently sitting in my home infront of online classes, finishing 2-3 semesters online and it seems like this could go on for 1 more semester atleast. Never would be the case if she had student loan debt. I definitely will watch this Documentary. The US needs a documentary about that devastation too.

Competitive exams are life making or breaking phenomenon in India. I used to stay in Delhi for IAS coaching (or as Korbin would call it ISS) . There I heard about a guy who gone mad because he couldn't not clear this exam, he would blabber in the streets like "I talked to the PM, he said he will give me another chance. Now I will clear this" later his parents took him back to home. If you visit these places you would see young people carrying big books, roaming from one coaching to another, studying day and night just to clear a single exam. The whole process is a mixture of gaining knowledge, developing personality while constantly fighting with fear, depression, hopelessness and landlord😁

But IITs are not as bad in terms of culture as people feel/say they are and only pains to those who does not belong to that domain... Yes exams will be there and essential basic knowledge is mandatory and there should not be any problem to anyone. If your domain is hurting you it is certainly due to your lack of interest in your domain. I am not talking about societal pressure and all here. Just about IITs and IISc. And also societal pressure now a days it is decreasing day by day.
