13:49 59.19 And do not be like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. It is they who are ˹truly˺ rebellious. - 14:45 They forgot themselves in things that will bring them ETERNAL happiness and goodness 14:14 They remembered their desire 15:43 -Forgot to do good deeds (be good to parents) -Forgot their faults (didn’t leave sins)

In the battle of Khandaq, the Muslims dug a ditch around themselves for their defense, so that the enemy could not get across. A man from the enemy side called Amr bin Abd-Wudd who was known for his strength, courage and art of fighting managed to get across the ditch. All the Muslims were terrified to fight him and only Ali (Radhiyallaahu 'anhu) came forward to fight this man. There was a fierce fight until at last Ali (Radhiyallaahu 'anhu) threw Amr down onto the ground and mounted his chest, ready to kill him. Just as Ali (Radhiyallaahu 'anhu) was about to kill this enemy of Islaam, he spat on the face of Ali (Radhiyallaahu 'anhu). Everybody was certain that because of this insult, Amr would meet his death even faster still, but to their amazement, Ali (Radhiyallaahu 'anhu) moved from Amr’s chest and walked away. Amr attacked him again and after a short while, Ali (Radhiyallaahu 'anhu) again overpowered Amr and killed him. After the battle was over people asked Ali the reason why he had spared Amr’s life when he had first overpowered him. To which he replied that if he had killed him then it would have not been only for the sake of Allaah, but also for the satisfaction of his anger and so he let him free. Then Ali (Radhiyallaahu 'anhu) controlled his anger and killed Amr purely for the sake of Allaah. Moral: Although your intention (niyyah) may be pure to begin with, it can very easily change, so always make sure that your intention is to do things for the sake of Allaah [Ibn Sa'd, Ibn Hishaam, and at-Tabari] I thought of this while watching this class especially in reference to surah hashr ayat 18

31:12 Two Parts Taking self to account BEFORE you do something 31:38 33:14 Sahabas would question self: Is this really for ٱللَّٰه? 33:42 Am I reading this Ayah for ٱللَّٰه Taking self to account AFTER you do something 34:09 Start with obligatory deeds -If you find any flaw in it 1. Make up for it 2. Fix It - 35:38 Take self to account for haram things Make tauba, do istighfar Do good deeds to wipe out for it - 36:32 Times of days of Ghaflah How do you make up for it? What 37:32 What you said? What your feet did? What you watched? WHY did you do it? 38:59 Are you sincere for ٱللَّٰه HOW did you do it? Sunnah of Prophet ﷺ 40:01 Remember blessings of ٱللَّٰه before you take yourself to account 40:18 Take self to account for even permissible things -Ask self about permissible things? -Did I need to do them? -Did they make me get closer to ٱللَّٰه? 42:00 Benefits of taking self to account 42:10 Know ones mistakes Realize Allah’s blessings on you Rush to tauba Self loathing - see self as not that great -Makes you want to purify self. Do good deeds. Stay away from sins. - 44:46 May ٱللَّٰه have mercy on person who blames soul, brings it under its control and then forces self to use book of ٱللَّٰه. Uses Quran as guide for soul.

Yes but it's likely that only voluntary prayers will compensate for those you missed Allah made the prayers for their appointed times so if you miss them they are gone and Allah knows best

Asalamalaykum Warahamatullahi Wabarakartahu ! Awesome Brother ... Good Deeds of a Muslim ! "Muslims are brethren, they never do wrong to each other, they never forgo supporting each other, they never abandon their brethren in hardships." A Religiopolitical Islamist organization founded in 1928 at Ismailia, Egypt, by Hassan al-Banna. Two Concepts of 'Muslim Brotherhood' known as : 1. the Society of the Muslim Brothers (جماعة الإخوان المسلمين ) Jamāʿat al-Ikhwān al-Muslimīn' 2. the Muslim Brotherhood (الإخوان المسلمون) Al-Ikhwān Al-Muslimūn. According to a Prophetic Tradition ... Imam Sadiq says: "Muslims are brethren and serves as each other’s eye and guide. They never betray each other. They never do wrong to each other. They never deceive each other. They never break their promises. The Holy Qur'an : Surah Al-Hujurat : Verse on Brotherhood ... (49:10) : “The believers are but a single brotherhood: So make peace and reconciliation between your two, (contending) brothers and fear Allah, that ye may receive Mercy.” “None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.” Sahîh al-Bukhârî and Sahîh Muslim Brotherhood Ensures the Affectionate Bond for the Sake of the Creator ! In the Worship of Allah (swt) the Mighty and Majestic ... The Messenger RAS (Sal Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said : A pious man whose heart is attached to the mosques and who meets another Muslim man. And the two men who love each other for Allah’s (swt) sake, and meet for that and part upon that. Then : “There are Seven whom Allah (swt)will shade in His Shade on the Day, when there is no shade except His Shade. The Holy Qur'an : Legislates Fraternity ! a Law that should be applied by Muslims ... (49:10) : "Believers are each other"s brothers. Restore peace among your brothers. Have fear of Allah so that perhaps you will receive mercy." In the pursuit of common goals of the Islamic Brotherhood Community who pray towards the fulfillment, of the purpose of creation and the Hereafter. In which 'fraternal bond' of believers according, to El-Miskin (2009) :is articulated by Allah (swt) Himself. Unity in Islam via Brotherhood ... The concept of 'Brotherhood' that which Allah (swt), The Majestic, created for those that Testify, (the Shahadah that unites us) to His Oneness and the Final Prophethood (RISALAH). In reference to the Prophet Muhammad RAS (Sal Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). Benefits of Brotherhood ... A good Muslim brother reminds you that you are not alone and that you are a part of his Brotherhood. The greatest reward of been close to brotherhood is having a sense of accountability in a spiritual Islamic manner. And the environment of been in the Masjid at ease with tranquil thoughts with brothers who simply understand, and who one can confide in. Thus, boost self esteem Islamic awareness and a sense of responsibility. to be better and meet ones goals. The Islamic Community, (Ummah) believe all Muslims are brothers, and a part of an important message to receive in honour of the Muslims teachings of Brotherhood. Nevertheless an essential part in building a moral and ethical Islamic society in which the 'Salah' (five daily Prayers), are performed in the 'Congregational Prayers' together in the Masjids. (Especially the 'Jummah Prayer' on Fridays). ...
