Be prepared for breakages and to get and that OBR means nothing.... I had one in mine and was it slowest 1/5th I've owned when it comes to off the line acceleration.

@@almighty151986 LOL. UFC performance clutch 9500rpm will fix that. I ran the g340 in my old Vekta and it and it was quick off the line. Better pipe and better air filter will help also. I won't be using the FID pipe, an Olimat Baja side mount pipe should fit. I've seen no complaints about breakages except from you lol.Having said that, you could always get the alloy arms

@@geejayrc9401 I had a UFC clutch in mine my friend....... Vekta is geared much better then this. Dragon hammer is geared way to high out the box and the taller wheels just make it even worse. Top end is good though and even more impressive with the bigger wheels on. I also sold this ages ago...... got fed up with the poor acceleration. And on the Dragon Hammer Facebook group quite a few have complained of poor shell and parts breaking when not driven hard.

@@almighty151986 Hmm ok fair enough. It looks like it acelerates alright even with a stock g320. Maybe the clutch is slipping, carb settings??? dunno. taller wheels obviously won't help of course

@@geejayrc9401 The issue is that it doesn't accelerate like a 5ive with the same engine..... A 5ive-T with a 34 Full Mod takes off like a rocket....... My Dragon Hammer with the full mod accelerated like a 5ive-T with the stock 29cc engine and black can exhaust by comparison.

@@almighty151986 i got killed with shipping and tax, 1490 with 36cc for v2 gas plus 340 shipping and believe it or not in this friggin communist state of NY USA, they require all internet purchase state tax at.08325 so another $135 tax purchased form fid on aliexpress

@@peterago1082 RCModelz in the UK ship to US so that might of been much cheaper for you. It comes with an exhaust pipe but Olimat do a much much better tuned pipe for it.

hey bud...how did you connect the battery so that the display comes on when u flip the switch since it has a balanced lead..once you connect it the display comes on...also what size batt are you using..i want to get the maxium size batt in there...thanks mate

Cool truck! Just try not to think of what else you could have bought with the money once you get fed up with it. DOH! I want one and I have 7 custom T-Maxx and E-Maxxes. They became an obsession so I had to quit cold turkey to get anything else done.

I'm lucky enough to be in a position where I don't have to worry about spending money on RC's or on anything to be honest. My first nitro RC was a T-Maxx way back in 1999 so I do have a soft spot for them

Hi bud.... turns out nothing will fit..... a clutch bell from a DBXL will fit and so will the pinions and spur gears from a DBXL/MTXL but after measuring clearances there's not enough room to get any combination in there. It really sucks as I'm not happy with the acceleration and there's no options to alter to gearing so I'm happy with it.

They're fine, springs stop them directly touching the pipe and I've never seen anyone melt fuel lines on the pipe.
