Absolutely amazing Catherine! 😍 I've actually made an earthquake cake before. Instead of being like Almond Joy, it was more like a German chocolate cake. Mine had pecans instead of almonds. I made it for my brother's birthday since he loves German chocolate cake and he loved the earthquake cake! 😘 I will definitely check out your pumpkin variation! This looks so amazingly good! I always liked Mounds bars better because of the dark chocolate, but I loved the almonds in the Almond Joy bars. I thought that Peter Paul should have come up with a compromise and made AlMounds bars; dark chocolate and almonds. I think I will try out your recipe, but use a dark chocolate cake mix instead.
