I've had to beat rugs... I can't answer the question though because it feels like they never fully got clean no matter how many times I beat them. Nowhere near that this machine did.

I love how that machine works! That did look like a Navajo rug and that did look like sand more than dust. Lots of shiny silica. And if you have seen where those rugs are woven, and how the yarn is spun, there is a lot of sand everywhere. Pretty hard to get sand out of the sheep's wool before spinning. Fantastic process. I think I would use that if I put my Navajo rug on the floor. No, it is on the wall. When I finish the one I'm weaving, I might put that on the floor. That was one very incredible rug! Thank you for showing this system. Love the pride in his work.

It is good to see the process you go through before washing. If you analysed the dust you would probably find most of it to be skin cells. We shed all the time. Looking forward to the washing.

I wonder how much the rug weighs after washing and drying - a series of before and after photos would be interesting! Before dusting, after dusting, and after washing and drying. It was nice of the previous chatter to say Hello to Jakub's wife. He seems like such a great guy and his wife or girlfriend is a lucky person. You wonder if there's some newly evolved life form in there! :D It's amazing how many things happen to keep civilization more or less running that very few people would have known anything about before cellphone cameras and KZbin came along. Thank you for showing us your rug bearing machine. I can’t believe how much dust you got out of that rug. Was it an entryway rug where people wiped their dirty shoes and boots or in a store with heavy traffic? I hope you wear a mask when using that machine on heavily dirty/sandy rugs so none gets in your lungs. You have to take care of yourself as all your customers and fans depend on you.
