Beans in my chili or no chili. The birds are most likely starlings. We get them here in the thousands as they migrate. This is how we know cold is coming. I bet that breakfast pizza would be awesome if you used country gravy as the sauce.

True chili (or chile for that matter) doesn't have beans. They are considered "foreign objects" at the Chili Cookoffs and their presence is grounds for disqualification at Terlingua at the International Chili Cook-off. Now, that's not to say you can't add beans after you get your "Bowl of Red", so different strokes for different folks. Out in the "middle of nowhere" is our cup of tea! Made a chili last week. Kidney beans for sure along with ground beef, green peppers mushrooms garlic and onions and pineapple chunks. Good and spicy over rice and spoon of sour cream and chopped cilantro.

In my opinion chili without Beans is For Hot Dogs and Hamburgers and Chili with Two types of meats and Two different type of beans is a Meal. But Deer Chili is My Favorite type of Chili. Recently began watching the channel. Love the videos and your joy of life. Chili must have beans, pinto beans by preference. Also, fresh baked cornbread pairs really well with it. I prefer crumbling the cornbread into the bowl/plate and putting the chili on top. Yum!

I've been watching your videos for a long time and I have to say the ranch videos are my all time favorites, maybe because I love the mountains and horses. I used to help my friends family move their cattle to different pastures but nothing like this magnitude. (I've had horses my entire life except the last few years when I lost my 30 yr old horse & am no longer able to ride.🐎🐴) I was so disappointed when you stopped filming your adventures on the ranch due to the stupidity of some of your subscribers but I'm so glad you're back filming the ranch, doing my happy, happy dance! ☺️🕺❤️ Have a great time at your friend's ranch and safe adventures to you all! We used Hondas on the roof, (commercial roofs) and they can haul double carts of tear off, run all day covered in pitch and asphalt. That's why I bought a couple and use them to haul firewood out of the woods. Skids big oak logs sometimes. That is some Beautiful but rugged country for sure. Mooove on.

For me it's chili, with beans, without beans, Texas red, Cincinnati 5 way it's all good. I had a recipe for Texas chili that started with frying beef suet then cooking your beef in the rendered fat with nothing but dried seasonings. It was amazing. Since lost the recipe and at my age probably for the better. If you are ever in Alexandria, Va go to the Hard Times Cafe on King St in Old Town Alexandria. They serve 3 types of chili. Cincinnati, Texas, and Terlingua. You order it how you want with beans, cheese, onions they serve it with cornbread. Delicious! Thanks for another great video. That Camera Guy Rocks!

Hear what I was told about chili with no beans. It marinate meat, bbq meat or meat with sauce. After a few minutes I thought about that and have a think that's a good way to think if it. I prefer beans and Fritos with my chili. California raised playing sports we called them pepperbellies. You take a snack size of fritos, cut off one side length wise and pour chili, cheese and onions, anything else you like and eat it with a place spoon no mess. Great camping meal. Oklahoma folks call it Frito pie. Call it what you what but it's yummy. Great video! Safe travels

I do beans and beanless. 99% of the time it's chuck but I've done leftover tbones, I've done pork butt chili, and I've done smoked beef rib chili when my heat deflector cracked and a few of the ribs got a little more well done than intended. But more important than what meat is what other things do you add? I've done cinnamon, I've done peanut butter, I've done chocolate, I've done squash and zucchini, and I've even won a chili cook-off with cinnamon sugar pop tarts as the sweetener and thickener.

I like my chili with red beans(maybe 25% by volume), I also like to add serrano(finely chopped) and jalapeno(sliced) peppers to give it some kick and if I can find it a couple whole ghost peppers for those with a need for heat(like me). Most any meat is good plus some onions and other spices, cheese on top when serving.
