1 single Skar SDR8 is NOT doing that much. I tuned my shit with oScope on a skar RP800.1D with 4g ofc wiring and it didn’t do anything near that. I gotta Pontiac g6. Even my EVL8 didn’t do that. My single EVL10 definitely does this.

I have sound deadening in the trunk I don't like rattling, 2 skar sdr 8s , stereo running into a PRV DSP to feed clean signal to amp, got the sub out going into a blupunkt bass processor and my bass carries far outside the car no rattling clean loud bass. Alot of people like the rattling i Don't personally you can definitely hear my bass. Without the sound deadening yeah it would rattle asf.

Need to spray some rubberized undercoating into the trunk and tighten down that lic plate and will be good to go bro. Plus that undercoating will sound proof it a bit(and kill the rattles) and put more bass into the interior of the car. Reminding me of my old competition setup back in the gap with only 2 kicker comp 10s in a custom built and tuned box and an old school rockford fosgate 100 watt amp. Hit 133db off the dash and only 2db off the state record at the time, stupid loud for the little power that was pushing it 👍.

If somebody's going to bolt an enclosure onto a removable trunk floor (like what's found above the spare tire well), do you think it is enough to hold down a low power (80 watt) subwoofer? I'm worried that the enclosure will be able to lift the floor panel up with bass and defeat the purpose of reducing power loss from movement. I'm considering using ratchet straps for ease of installation/removal and attaching them to the spare tire using its weight to secure the enclosure. (i would have to cut slots thru the trunk lid for the straps to pass through). Or maybe i can somehow bolt into the floor and then bolt the floor down in a removable way. But how much movement/play is allowed in the floor for it to effectively prevent acoustic power loss? Does it have to be rock solid attached to the rest of the car?
