As some of the others have said, next time try using cardboard to make your pattern. It's easier than having to waste a whole sheet of OSB, just a tip from experience. Why did someone call Kleeman out, hopefully you'll fill in the gaps next time. Well done on what you did get done, all of you. From UK.

I can think of a few reasons you decided to do what you did with the nails and screws. They are: * takes way too much time to remove and new nails can go between them * digging/pulling them out will chew up the top of the joists and take too much time and still may require cutting them off I am guessing that was why you decided to do it that way, or that you have a similar reason. When will the boat be taken out or will that be staying as a ceiling decoration?

I think they could have used a Tic Stick for this project. It's one of those simple pieces of technology that everybody forgot about, but that might have been the right tool for this job.

Why guess the angles...? Use a T-bevel and get the angle regardless of what it is. Or get a crown molding protractor and KNOW the angle - Starrett 505P-7

The trick is to use one reference surface. Use a square and measure off the edge of the sheet that's already down. You can get all intersection points.

It would be easier to square your OSB with the floor joists. If you set it at 4 feet away you can just use your 4 foot level and your framing square to measure the distance to the irregular wall. That is all the measuring your need to do and your will be done in 5 minutes. Why measure when you can fit?
