@@z-anatomy you should learn upbge first, it's hassle free and let's you make pc games without having to write a single line of code (let's you program games visually using node-like system called Logic bricks). It uses python which is way more easy than C, and most scripts you'll ever need are there on the internet to just plug in and use. It's the right engine to start with. you can go to other engines later on when you start facing limitations

and upbge is a blender game engine fork so no need to relearn the ui, or go through the problem of exporting and importing everything you need in your game

@@z-anatomy I would say learn another tool (UE4 / Unity / Godot* )next to blender because although blender is amazing for indie development, bigger companies and recruiters don't use it
