These were the better years in pro stock… Most of the teams did most of their own R&D in house and made you wonder who had the horsepower that year… Now it’s rent a car, rent a engine, rent a crew and go racing… Money wins…👍🏾

If your refering to Glidden he only ran it to prove it could be done and hidden. He is the one who outed his own son Rusty for cheating. Bob Glidden was the kindess, nicest man you would ever want to meet in Drag Racing. I have had a few opportunities to meet and talk to him over the years, Edda was also super nice. Bob always took the time for his fans.
