ALMOST LANDED ON THE TAXIWAY! | Taildragger Fly-In 2021

It was time for the annual Taildraggers Fly-In at Bela Bela, Warmbaths in South Africa. An event that hosts tailwheel aircraft from allover South Africa. This 3 day event displays aerobatics, warbirds, antique aircraft and everything in between. Since I have a Rotax 915 powered Safari Taildragger, I was in my element.
Apart from the scorching hot temperatures, taildraggers is an event that I will attend every year. From watching T-6 Harvards Display, to Extra 330's doing freestyle aerobatics, it certainly is something to look forward to.

Haha it's this kind of protection of pride that will kill you man. In the case of this event, the grass runway was not demarcated and therefore could have happened to anyone unfamiliar with the airport. Debriefs were done and avoidance of such in the future was discussed openly.
