Go go go US Navy Ship. China has no absolute right to own almost the entire length of South China Sea. Their claim has been denied by Arbitral Ruling. It's because no country can own a vast Sealanes which is being used as Maritime Shipping Route of almost Merchant shipping companies the world over to and from their port of origin to a port of their destination so as to deliver their products. Vietnam is a communist country but over the years has become so commercialized it doesn't feel or act like a communist country.

Stop calling China a superpower, though China may have a large number of ships their navy and airforce are closer to 3rd world power than an elite advanced fighting force. Most of their navy is green water capable and even their larger ships have no blue water experience. They have no carrier tactic or operations experience. They have yet to launch an aircraft from a carrier, all their air operations are land-launched. The Fujian 002 lacks modern aircraft launching capabilities. and the fact that their carriers are not nuclear-powered they couldn't launch many crafts with its new EMALS launch system (does it even work?). Gosh, the Chinese Navy got a US Navy sonobuoy. And so...? The Navy doesn't retrieve them anyway, so the Chinese can just add it to their collection. Maybe they can trade them with other maritime powers and collect the whole set. I'd be willing to bet the Navy got more information from that retrieval that the Chinese ever expected.
