ah just did a quick look. did a two season stint on comedy central. Obviously no one understood the jokes since 90% of them were local jokes

I loved it, and I'm from Indianapolis! I've only spent a week in Seattle once for a conference downtown, and that was mostly confined to the hotel. We have our own version of South King County here called Morgan County or possibly Johnson County. Maybe even Speedway where the Indy 500 happens. It's where the hicks live. We have something sort of like Ballard here called Beech Grove, at least with regard to the old people...not so much the Scandinavian part. We have our own Mercer Island called Geist...complete with its own yacht club. We have our own Redmond called Carmel, or perhaps Fishers. We have our own Wallingford here called Broad Ripple. The U-District is probably the most like Bloomington or West Lafayette. We even have our own tourist trap Leavenworth (admittedly not Bavarian-themed) called Nashville.

There's no such thing as the Magnolia Locks. This is filmed n the south side of the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks (aka the Ballard Locks).

@NewMexicoSunset I watched it in Canada, and loved it. I learned "all" I know about Seattle from the show! LOL. The unofficial stuff anyways. I think for the national stuff, they tried to stick to the less local humour. I'd have to watch the Almost Live retrospective I have to verify...

I lived just over the Ballard bridge, Seattle side from 1993 til 96. Then I moved to White Center. Rat City!

ya miss the show a lot....agree with NMS, pretty sure it never was national. they just did local comedy.
