I remember 1 year friends & I in Michigan deep fried a turkey for Thanksgiving in the pole barn. Instead of turning it off it got turned up after we took the turkey out. We were watching a movie I looked out the back window and said thats weird it's snowing out back. It wasn't snow the poke barn was on fire. Good thing my friend volunteered for our fire department and had his equipment at the house. But it was scary. We saved the barn just had to reinforced some trusses and replace the big door. ❤

We had a similar problem at Thanksgiving one year. My father-in-law was deep frying a turkey, he went inside for a bathroom break and to get a drink. I stepped outside to his deck being on fire. Aparently the grease from the deep fryer had caught fire and the wind had blown the catchment container loose on one side. We were able to move the deep fryer and put the fire out. It was a brand new deck at that. My husband and son were able to fix his deck for him and the turkey dinner was amazing! We had a wonderful family get together. Thank you for sharing. All the food looks absolutely delicious. Much love from our family to your family 💞
