Neil, as someone who bought his AE86 in his very early 20s, owned it for 21yrs, dont worry about the other life things people are doing. just enjoy what you are doing, the other life stuff (houses, partners, kids etc) can come later when you are ready.

You don't often think about this, but doing 1 off custom work is actually a thrill for a professional. I'm a landscaper and do mind numbingly repetitive stuff all day, but give me a custom job working from concept renderings and I love it! I'll do all the overtime I can! My tattoo artist said the same thing when he did my sleeve that we agonised over for nearly 6 months in design. He said its so much better putting 20 hours in a huge custom peice than doing 20 flaming skulls over and over again. I never thought of it like that!

No way it's been that long. INSANE to see how far this thing has come since you found it in the marsh. Every time I watch one of your vids, my interest in cars gets reinvigorated. Here in America, it's about who's got the biggest, fastest engine, and there's just no community like this out here any more. Not to mention the amount of shit people get for driving certain cars... To me, cars have always been about hanging with mates and enjoying what you're driving without it effecting your ego. Love you man, And I am very glad to have been here for the entirety of it. P.S.
