I sometimes get bothered by flickering things -- Deb's fan is all right -- or otherwise overstimulated, and it can be difficult to judge when it would be good to say something and when not. Usually I don't because the point where I feel overstimulated is pretty close to the point where I should just stop watching video and go do something else for a bit anyway.

Long time subscriber, first time commenter but just wanted to say that, having struggled with lack of energy for weeks after COVID, I was hugely impressed with what Mark managed to achieve on the mooring decking while infected. As a limited capability DIY-er I'm always impressed with Mark's ability to turn his hand to so many things and his modest NHTBHID explanations are excellent. I'm sure you have your ups and downs like any couple but it is always uplifting to watch your vlogs and see the loving and supportive relationship you have (and hard not to be envious). Horses for Courses good people. Narrowboats will float, but they also roll!!! But you know that. A valuable tip. Box or bag everything up that is over the waterline. Place that lot of stuff on the floor and wedge it so it cannot move athwart ships. Your boat is obviously heavy on side so make sure it is NOT! When I was at sea, we avoided getting "troughed" when turning for the same reason your boat nearly toppled. Narrow boats were designed for canals NOT rivers, no keel means poor linear stability. Look after your lovely boat, and make sure the Crew, dogs and Mrs, or should that Mr depending on who is captain. Are safe. The good thing, you lived to have a laugh about it your experience, and you learned something, and kindly shared it - God Bless the ship and all who sail in her!

Yes, it's been awhile. Wow. What a trip on that tide! Glad your safe. I've seen others on the wash (?). I don't blame you Deb, I wouldn't go on it either. Well... Now you know exactly how much current and how much heel your vessel can manage. This experience is more worth than 10 year "cruising" along.
