cydrus he could. Google doesn’t require a degree. But the work will likely feel excruciatingly slow compared to bite-sized problems in programming comps. They are challenging in other ways, but nowhere near needing the abilities that William already has. It’s super cool to watch him pick up things, too - he started with Java, now C++, and he’s using Vim. Lol. He can express at the speed of thought.

What I'm going to do later is write out the problems and compare them to his code and see if I can figure out how the code solves the problems, and then also look for how he thought about structuring the solutions. Since there is commentary and screen recording, there's a lot more to go off of than in most cases.

Well first problem was quite easy as even I could solve it in my first attempt 😂😂. My solution was actually a bit different though. I just calculate 2nd order difference array and count the maximum number of contiguous zeros in the array and add 2 to it. E.g. array [1,2,3,4,6,8]. First order difference array [1,1,1,2,2]. Second order difference: [0,0,1,0]. So maximum number of contiguous zeroes is 2. Add 2 to it and that's our answer.
