Dang, I want his yard! How wonderful to have all of those fruits growing in your backyard ready to pick when ripe. Not only does Steven know the trees, but the health benefits as well, very knowledgeable. I hope that the seeds from the fruit Kat found grow quickly, strong, and healthy.

If I lived in MX, this is how my place would look. I'd be collecting plants and creating a fruit tree/ edible garden paradise.

Before he retired, I wonder what he did as he knows so much about plants. Interesting guy. I'm curious how long he has been living there and cultivating his private paradise. So now I will watch your other video to see if my questions are in that one. Thanks guys for doing this!

I was in Todo Santos 41 years ago when I was pregnant with my 40 year old Son. We had met some nice people and they invited us to come stay at their Oasis in the desert. It looked like the only really green property there at that time. Thank you for reminding me of such great memories!❤😊 It was the first time I ever saw Loofa sponges growing too. I was shocked to see how they looked kinda like a zucchini, nothing like it after dried & peeled.

Enjoyed this so much, and recognized so many of the plants we have enjoyed growing here along the upper Texas gulf coast. Now that we’ve retired, we’d rather be growing them in Mexico!

nice...I'd like to know about the super secret soil. When I'm in Mexico I always compost in place e.g. bury organic material directly into the garden, that works but it takes a lot of time.
@AlmostRetiredinMexico
@AlmostRetiredinMexico 5 ай бұрын
I can't remember where the soil was from - I think an arroyo. That kinda makes sense because the arroyos probably fill up with topsoil when it rains. Definitely put that organic material to use!

I was waiting to see if he had star fruit. Mom n Dads neighbour in Florida grew star fruit and a host of other tropical fruits. You need to chill it right down before cutting it. Delicious. Thank You (all 3) for the delicious tour. So Mr B when is Kat moving to that area ? LOL PS How were the brownies ? P n D

The brownies were magical. Chilled! And about as chocolaty as they get! Kat isn't moving. She's not allowed. He might have had star fruit hiding somewhere - there were a few corners of the yard he didn't drag us into.

Hi I live here, I dont have fish but my partner goes to the beach and fishes. lol. I have been eating the fish here my entire life by the way lolol I do not glow in the dark. I think this guy is my neighbor but I never leave my house. I live in a adobe house I built. I am 73 if you want to come and check it out. We have green stuff growing everywher. lol. I am dirt poor so I can not do much, but what I do is recycle everything I can. The leaves of the Guayaba are medicinal by the way. You can find me behind Los Pinos super mercado a boat is in front. lolo we had papayas but they got a plaga, so we chopped them all down. I want to grow Black Cherries. Loquots grow in California.
