Alms Giving Ceremony In Luang Prabang, Laos 🇱🇦 / Nishi V

The first half of our trip to Luang Prabang Laos; I had food poisoning which wiped me out for a couple of days, but then participated in the Almsgiving ceremony, which was incredible. We also visited the Luang Prabang morning market and booked a last minute Laotian cooking class at Tamarind.

So sorry you got food poisoning, it’s so draining. I am someone who vomits, unfortunately. But I’ve only had food poisoning a few times. I’m glad you did manage to get out and about and enjoy your time there though. The cooking class looked really enjoyable and a lovely setting, what a beautiful fresh selection of herbs and veg. Love how they use the lemongrass and banana leaves to contain and cook the other ingredients 💚

Thanks lovely! Food poisoning really wipes you out, it's terrible. Regardless, Laos is incredible. I loved my time there so much, and that cooking class was fab! ❤

Did you use a e-sim? Or SIM card for data? Also, I remember when I first went 2019 I got food poisoning for a day.

I must say this was the first time I've ever had food poisoning abroad. I used an e-sim on this trip.
