You have really inspired me. I used to live in Florida and my dad had a Pierson 31 sailboat and I spent a whole week in those same waters in the Bahamas years ago. Now I have lived in Mexico and Peru for the last 20 years...you have inspired me to do everything possible to get back there.

Great videos! We've been watching you since your adventures in your smaller boat. We actually almost bought a 23 'Parker last year but backed out at the last minute. We live in PA and have had our previous boats in Ocean City, MD. Its great fishing but all the good offshore fishing is 40++ miles out (50-60 miles is canyon fishing). We backed out bc we started remembering the weekend ride to MD is 2 and a half hours each way and out fishing was a two and a half hours out...lol..and we thought 'boy if only we lived in Florida where the fishing is so close'. Oh well maybe in 10 yrs when we think about retiring we can keep a boat in Florida! Have safe adventures and keep making videos so we can live vicariously through u, ;)

Your boat is set just right, although I’m surprised on the miles you put on one engine! My boat is 28ft, with twin Yamaha 250’s! I love the seclusion, and eating everything fresh, and now that I am retired, it’s calling me to do the same! I want the auto pilot set up, and I’ll be ready to go.

You have a nice boat a 28ft very nice and twin-engine is a lot better to have but it's more fuel consumption an autopilot is a must for long trips. Suggestion... why not make a prep board that would sit into the slot next to the Grill. Almost like a fish cleaning area. Maybe this would stop all the back and forth into the pilot house? Hey Captain...Does anyone ever complain about your generator noise or are you far enough away from them? I am thinking about getting a simalar generator for my rig. Thanks!
@OutOnTheReef5 жыл бұрын
The rule for me is if I'm there first and anybody comes thereafter and docks next to me they have to put up with my noise but if there's already people on the Anchorage I'll stay away as possible so they don't hear the generator too much. Please before you buy a generator from Amazon if you can use any of my links within 24 hours using the link they'll give me a commission probably between 5 to 8% and that really helps out a lot of Captain. And please let me know when you do it because that way I know you were the one that purchased . Westinghouse generators are really good and their economic but if you want something really good you can go with a Yamaha they are the best but they're little bit pricey

@@agaramelan7319 it's like a movie everywhere you go around. They said the best thing to do is stay at home even though we'll have a full quarantine lockdown but I have decided to lockdown myself. We need to survive this and take care of our families. Say hello to the kid and be safe, and try to stay indoors away from the zombies LOL

Great video! As always, I look forward to them. Question, what is the approxinate total cost of these trips for you? Like, how much do you normally spend on gas, groceries, etc ... just curious. Hopefully that's not too perosnal to answer. Safe travels brother!
@OutOnTheReef5 жыл бұрын
My total expense will be like $500 but for that price you can stay from 2 days to 7 days or more and your price will not change at all

@@OutOnTheReef that's pretty good! Also, do you keep your navi lights on when you sleep ?
@OutOnTheReef5 жыл бұрын
@@johnerlealo3056 you don't need your navigation lights on the only thing you need is your cruising light which is the white light that sticks up in a pole that one you need to have on to avoid any boat Collision
