Another great video. I have been following your channel for a while now and have to say I enjoy your attitude about boating and enjoying yourself. When it comes to the new boat, I understand the reason why you refer to it as a "Crooked Pilothouse" and prefer to not give a whole lot of free advertisement to the manufacturer. No matter what type of factory boat, they all have their quirks as they are more or less mass produced. The main thing is that you are enjoying the boat and it does what you want it to do for you. No matter what anyone else says, it is your boat and you are enjoying it. I have had a Trophy Walkaround since I purchased it new since 2008 and it has done whatever I wanted it to do without any real issues. Yeah, there are a lot of negatives nellies on any brand of boat, unless it is one of the so-called high level brands that most of us normal working guys can afford. Main thing for me is that I have a boat that we enjoy and can afford to use whenever we want and don't break the bank. I see too many people put themselves in way over their heads for a certain brand of boat for a certain "image" and the thing is either a trailer queen or spends most of the time tied to the dock as they cannot afford the fuel to enjoy it. Keep up the great videos and enjoy being on the water whenever you can.

I understand brother. Do u do any privets trips or u may do in the future I don’t mind paying , and I be on my own boat it will be me and my wife just that first time. Or if u think if I can reach out to u with some of the questions I need for planing the trip. I’m still having problems with working the nav kind the weather forms maybe?

@@sufyanmusa777 for the GPS what I usually do is I pinpoint where I want to go and the GPS distress like a mobile device GPS and as far as the forms you can get copies at Bahamas. Com they have the forms there and also if you arrive to the Bahamas without the form they will give you the forms there it just takes a little bit of time to fill them out maybe about 30 minutes. Just don't forget your passport and your wife's passport to and make sure your boat is working in top shape have extra spark plugs 1 quart of oil and if your engine is an inboard extra belts and always dual a battery or having a battery tender with you. For safety I have three forms of GPS in my boat I have a handheld a Garmin on the dash and my satellite iridium GPS that works on my cell phone via satellite. And the lobster season is closed right now I believe it's all the way to August of this year I know because when I went it was closed

@@sufyanmusa777 you can text me here anytime you want Captain and I'll try to answer if you need any help how many gallons does a boat have I fuel. And something that is really important to have is a plb a Personal Locator Beacon you can get help via satellite without equipment if you ever need rescue in an emergency and a vhf radio is a must

Do you not want people to know who you are that you always cover your face or record from your back? Nothing ment by that just curious. Love your crossings videos. I hope soon one day ican do that myself. What kind of work do you do tgat gives you the great opportunity to get away so much? Sorry for all the questions but one more what program do you use to edit your videos is it a paid or do you use a free one

To edit my videos I use Movie Maker is free is from Microsoft you can only get it I believe with older computers not the new ones cuz they discontinued it. And I cover my face from personal preference I always have done it.

Love your videos but think it’s time for a Honda Generator... I could not listen to that early in the morning or late at night.
@OutOnTheReef5 жыл бұрын
It's pretty quiet inside the cabin is very sealed so I don't hardly hear the generator at all and I know the Honda in the Yamahas are a little bit better but this Westinghouse is giving me 2200 starting watts In the Honda does not have that for the size that I purchase this one

The videos are getting a little boring lately. They mostly consist of an intro some food prep and eating a little boat driving than an outro. I was at central marine where you bought your boat the dealer was talking junk on you saying you were measure the boat before you bought it and had to know it had a defect sounds a little arrogant to me. FYI. I told them I followed you on KZbin. I mean know offense about the video content just trying to give you one viewers opinion.
@OutOnTheReef5 жыл бұрын
That's a lie from Central Marine I did not know about the Crooked when I purchase it and they know that they shouldn't be lying about it so definitely they are talking junk if they keep it up they will losing reputation with me and yes I agree with you I really need to change a little bit more of my videos thank you for your honest comment is viewers like you to help me improve my channel. If Central Marine told you that about me and it's a lie be careful if you buy a boat from them because they're not being honest
@OutOnTheReef5 жыл бұрын
Anyway who measures a boat before they buy it to make sure it's not crooked like mine nobody does you rely on good engineering from a company that is that famous and popular like the one that built my boat
@hotwiredpc40795 жыл бұрын
I was looking at a 2520xld at central marine that’s when I mentioned your boat to them and they started talking. Once they have your money they don’t care about anything else. It’s a shame what happened to you. I don’t think it should be the buyers responsibility to make sure a brand new boat is free from defects. But i have heard guys say even when they buy a new boat they will get a survey becuase it’s not uncommon for boats to come from the factory with defects. I bought a New Cobia boat that was delivered to me from the dealer with multiple bilge water leaking issues and one factor defect. Dealer didn’t know how to fix the factory defect and the leaking bilge hoses aka fresh water and raw water we fixed ourselves. All I can say is sometimes the lessons we learn in life are harder than we feel like they should be.

@@hotwiredpc4079 is true Cap. Once they have your money is all that it matters sometimes. At first they ware very nice because of my KZbin channel. But this ensue made them change towards me. Is ok im moving forward
