This is definitely the most beautiful cover Floor did in my humble opinion. Indeed when she covers your song you instantly loose it. It is a combination of singing and a desperate cry. A painful longing for ...So intense.. so straight "beng" into your heart. Unless you are a plant you instantly suffer from welling up tears. No matter how often you hear it. Show this to all dictators on the world and it will make this rock a much more peaceful place. Because even the bad guys will weep from pure joy and happiness. God, she is soooooo goooood.

Yes, she is sitting, and yes, the notes are hard to hit for mere mortals in a seated position. But you forget, she is a Valkyrie Goddess, so no challenge for her. And please, make sure to fill your water before watching a Floor video, she will always leave you thirsty for more, every time.

Not to distract from the beauty of the performance, but the audio you hear in the song is recorded prior to this. The video is just that, video. I imagine Floor actually sung this standing up in her home studio space.

The pianist on this version is Joost van den Broek, who was in After Forever for years with her. You may remember him from The Day the World Breaks Down - Arjen said he was a LUL

Although she could certainly do this song sitting down, being the consumate professional she is and knowing that the best singing comes when standing, my guess is she did it standing for the actual audio track and then sang it again along with that track sitting in the rocking chair for the video. I can't prove that, though. Just my guess. Joost's piano here is just magical.

I pop up to your "reaction factory" a little. You are way too young for this song. The original is from l-10 (1983) and the Heart's cover is from the 1987 album "Dangerous Animals". It was a huge international hit. Heart's lead singer Ann Wilson is considered one of the most powerful female singers of all time. But so is also Floor Jansen. She's done this a couple of times before. But this is the best of them all. It's mature and powerful, but also vulnerable. My favorite of her covers (and they are all great) 😎👍 (Haha, the "sitting", this is a pre-recorded music video, but an impressive one though).

Hey Highly Combustible. After you did that live stream your Mic has had some issues. It has this annoying error when ever you talk. It has this weird "srrrsssrrrssrrr" voice in there. Might wanna check if your settings are not right or if Mic is its last legs. Pls fix it pls, I'd really wanna keep following you but that mic distortion is making me crazy. When u just listen there is no distortions. Only when u speak.
