Welcome to Canada. Land of the portaaaage. Enjoy the bugs? LOL. As I commented previously I’m off to Magnetawan next month. It’s always a race to avoid the bugs and beat the snow. Ralph Bice can be a nasty lake in the winds. Tim River is really dependent upon water levels. Usually half way through my trips I crave a coney dog (Lafayettes). I usually use a hammock but the Nature Hike is my tent option. Another great video! A tip for you - when you place your bags/barrel in the boat, keep the shoulder straps up- that way they stay dry.

Almost did a trip there, 40 years ago, but wouldn't have been solo. Nice to see your adventure. Peace, from another resident of the "Mitten"!
